The Magistrorum Convention 2026 specialises in the World of Bizarre Magic and Mentalism.

Magistrorum is a Latin word that translates to “of the teachers” or “of the masters.” It is often used in educational contexts to refer to a group of professors, scholars, or experts. In ancient Rome, magistrorum would denote those who held positions of authority or expertise in various fields. The term carries a sense of respect and recognition for their knowledge and contributions. Additionally, it refers to professors teaching the darker ancient artform of magic. The Abbott’s Magic Company, the Colon Lions Club and the Colon Chamber of Commerce are proud to celebrate the 87th Annual Abbott’s Magic Get-Together. The dates are July 30,31,August 1st, 2nd, 2025. Once again, magicians from all over the world will migrate to Colon, Michigan, the Magic Capital of the World, to be a part of this family oriented event. Tents and campers will magically pop up everywhere to swell this tiny little village until it appears there is no room for even one more person. Everyone scampers to be a part of this fun convention which was named the #1 Unique Michigan Convention in the Detroit Free Press.

Magicians will be performing in the streets, restaurants and bars. The annual craft fair will take place on Friday and Saturday. Visit the Colon Historical Museum for a special Magic adventure or take a cemetery tour where many famous and not so famous magicians have chose to perform their final act and become a permanent part of the magical history of Colon. You also don’t want to miss the 3 free magic shows daily on the streets of Colon by some of the country’s top busking magicians.

Each of the four days ends with a world class magic and variety show held in the air-conditioned Colon High School Auditorium. These are not your average birthday party magicians and each show is different, with comedy, large illusions, variety acts, and much more.

This is an announcement for the 65th Tenyo Magic Festival.

This time, we will once again invite magicians and performers active around the world to perform top-class shows. This time, we have invited Juan Colas from Spain, where magic is at its peak. He will perform a popular act that won the grand prize at an international competition.
There will also be many other events, such as the announcement of the results of the annual Junior Magician Video Contest and the sale of new and special products. The 15th Congress of the European Order of Mentalists (OEDM Congress)
The 15th OEDM Congress will take place from January 30 to February 1, 2026 in Coudekerque-Branche, hosted by, and in interaction with, the famous Masters of Magic festival .

The number of places is limited.

Four conferences, two prestigious galas, meals, after-parties, participation in the competition…
On Saturday, the first registered delegates will also have access to the prestigious gala organized by the Masters of Magic, featuring top-tier magicians.
On Sunday, the Masters of Mentalism gala will take place, with an exceptional lineup of mentalists.
The list of artists and speakers will be announced soon.

The 10th Nostradamus Competition for the Best European Mentalist
The NOSTRADAMUS 2026 competition for the Best European Mentalist will take place on Friday, January 30th, during the OEDM congress. In addition to the NOSTRADAMUS GOLD trophy, this year’s competition offers a prize of €1,000 for the winner and €500 for the winner of the CAGLIOSTRO prize (Audience Choice Award).

Competition directly qualifying for the FFM French Championships, and recognized as a “Regional FISM Qualified Contest” (in 2024, and soon for 2026).
