Comtois Magic Circle

Since March 2000, the Cercle Magique Comtois has been affiliated with the Fédération Française des Artistes Prestidigitateurs, the oldest French magic society.

It brings together magic enthusiasts from Franche-Comté.

Its goals, as defined in its statutes, are:

​• to bring together amateur and professional magicians in a friendly group for the study, practice and promotion of the art of magic;

• to participate in national and international magical life;

• to provide its members with the means to study and practice the magical art;

• to combat the abusive disclosure to the general public of the secrets of magical art and the use of magic for dishonest purposes.

​The Cercle Magique Comtois meets one Saturday afternoon a month in Besançon.

​The association has approximately 20 members. All areas are represented: card magic, close-up magic, mentalism, general magic, grand illusions.

In addition to its monthly activities, the association regularly organizes magical activities in contact with the public for its members.
