The International Brotherhood of Magicians is the world’s largest organization of magicians, with members in 88 countries. Currently nearly 13 000 members. They have hundreds of local “Rings” in the U.S. And “Rings” Internationally.
Founded in 1922 by Len Vintus and Gene Gordon, the I.B.M.’s membership today includes the top professional magicians and thousands of enthusiastic hobbyists from all walks of life.
It supports magicians of all levels—amateurs to professionals—through its annual convention, contests, and the Linking Ring magazine. Based in St. Charles, Missouri, it’s known for fostering a global magic community.I have decided to update information below (01.04.2025– not April’s fool joke). This information is taken directly from the I.B.M. website and is freely available. Note however, that it is the responsibility of the “Rings” to update their information with I.B.M.
