Mawonga is a South African magician.
Mawonga Gayiya is an award-winning South African magician known for his magical entertainment at events, conferences, and parties in South Africa.
Born and raised in Khayelitsha, he has a natural flair for performance and comedy magic, making him uniquely approachable.
Mawonga has participated in several competitions and shows, including winning a bronze medal at the 2015 SA Magic Championships and progressing to the semi-final round of SA’s Got Talent.
He has also represented South Africa internationally, performing in Las Vegas and China.
Additionally, Mawonga is a Silver Medallion winner (the highest award) from the College of Magic and was on the teaching staff for many years.
I can personally vouch for the fact that Mawonga is indeed a funny magician!
