I happened to come across a fantastic basic course on ‘How to be a Ventriloquist’, released by Jeff Dunham on YouTube.

I have put that course here on one page, for your pleasure.

An introduction from Jeff Dunham and little Jeff, explaining that ‘they’ have released this course on YouTube for people to learn.

The course was originally released as a DVD , with the purchase of the ‘Little Jeff’ dummy and was called “How to talk to yourself”. If you have the original DVD- no doubt it will become rare.

Practice.

Practice (in front of a mirror).

Lesson 4- the Letter M

Practice, practice (in front of a mirror).

Lesson 6- the Letter V

The letter V.
Practice (in front of a mirror-away from Walter).

Lesson 7- the Letters W and Y

The Letters W and Y.
Practice, in front of mirror- away from Walter.

Lesson 8- the Other voice and Timing

The Other voice and Timing

Lesson 9- Figure manipulation

Figure manipulation.

Lesson 10- Redo All- Practice

The Final Lesson- Go back and redo all the lessons again.
Ventriloquism takes practice.
