James Galea is an Australian magician and actor based in Sydney and Los Angeles. He was introduced to the art of magic at the age of 14 and spent most of his youth studying sleight of hand magic, practicing for eight hours a day.

Galea performed at James Packer’s first wedding in 1999 when he was 18 years old. The same year, he opened his own stage show in Japan.
In 2002, he became the Australian Close-Up Magic Champion.
He has headlined venues such as the Magic Castle in Hollywood and the Flamingo Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas in 2005 and 2006.
Galea is known for his show “673 King St Band of Magicians” and his card trick “673 King Street,” which was a viral hit on YouTube, amassing over 10 million views.
Galea is an award-winning magician, writer, and producer who has been creating television and theatre internationally for twenty years.
He has made constant television appearances, including on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, TODAY, The Late Late Show, and Access Hollywood.
His innovative approach to magic involves trading the traditional rigid tuxedo and stiff top hat for a pair of sneakers, jeans, and a t-shirt, presenting the art of magic with a wicked sense of humor and youthful charm.
