Here is the link to the Magic tricks marketplace as mentioned in previous post.
You can offer your magic tricks that you want to sell on this section of the website.
The location is given, so if there is someone selling a trick (for instance) in Calgary Canada and you sign on from Calgary, you will see their offerings (for sale) first.
I.e. the tricks for sale are location based. You can still obviously look through them all as postage is a thing.
http://magiciansandmagic.com/magic_tricks/I will be closing this particula forum down soon.
As i am creating a seperate space for you to list your magic for sale, which will be available via the navigation bar.Saw a beautiful idea with self minted coins at the SA Magic Convention.
We also had a wonderful lecture from Wolfgang Riebe and Matt Gore covering marketing ideas.
If you want to share, this is a great space to do so.No one has posted here, so as i am working on these forums, i will leave open for only a while longer.
No one?
I know a lot more exposure is happening with social media… and it does upset magicians that do the same effects for their livings, However, i also know that a magician that does an effect really well can make you not even realise you are watching the same thing someone exposed.
Any thoughts people. There is a lot more street performing happening… and there is a lot of it linked to youtube channels, social media accounts and so on. The magic world is really opening up.
I do think that magic is getting a lot more exposure presently and as a result a lot more fantastic close up magicians.
It is amazing to see how some magicians keep the same “trick” in theri routines for years, yet are constantly adapting that routine as they go along… true artists.
What is your favourite routine you simply cannot do without?
