Magician Paul Daniels- diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour

Paul Daniels publicist confirmed on Saturday morning (20.02.2016), that Paul Daniels has been diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour.

We, at magiciansandmagic would like to extend our best wishes to him and his family.

The first magic book that I ever got was Paul Daniels “Paul Daniels Magic Book”. He was/ has been an extremely influential performer – with a sense of humour second to none.

This is extremely sad news to us here and we hope that nature has a say in alleviating his pain.

Paul Daniels made his debut on television in an “Opportunity Knocks” episode , a UK based television programme (produced by Thames), where he won a second place (1970).

In the late 1970’2 he appeared on a BBC show, ” For my next trick”.

Later he starred in his own television show ” The Paul Daniels Magic Show”, which ran on BBC from 1979 until 1994. I remember watching a few episodes of this show- what fun and humour and joy the show had. Filled with laughter and smiling faces.

Paul, has also been involved in some reality shows in recent years.

For a quick look at the inimitable Paul Daniels, here is a video from You Tube showing him at work doing a cups and balls routine. (published by “bortherbor” in 2014).

Go ahead and laugh, it’s free!
