Magic Tricks for Childrens Magic Shows

The Mouse that Roared by Dan Garrett
This is great, if you want something cute, interactive and small. With imagination this can be used for children and adults magic.
Dan Garrett’s routine is quick and visual where a small mouse (puppet) runs up and down your arm, fingers, across your shoulders, attacks you, kisses you, interacts with you, bites you, it is fed, and so much more.
You are taught Dan’s original handling and fingering of the puppet, which is different from all previous versions, and simulates the actions of a real animal. No threads or mechanical parts of any kind… just your personality and handling.
Dan has used it on stage, corporate events, close-up, walk-around, parlor, children’s shows, and just about every venue and condition imaginable. The video tutorial features Dan performing and teaching his adult and kid show routines.

Toy Market by Pilato
This is another one that would have the children screaming for their turn.
TOY MARKET is the new sensation in children’s and stage magic, an AWESOME and completely interactive visual effect.
Picture this: You present a magical little pantry and pull out a completely EMPTY tray. There’s nothing inside!
But here comes the incredible thing… The tray returns inside and now the public can see a display case with a variety of products to freely choose from. You ask a viewer to select a product by indicating a random number, you have two presentation options: package of cookies or a small bottle of soft drink.
When the tray is removed again… the product chosen by the viewer appears as if by magic.

CoCo Trick by Damien Vappereau and Marc Celiandre
This can be used with good effect for both Children and Adults.
It is more of an impromptu effect. Kind of trick you could do when talking to the adults and children after or before a show.
The Most Adorable Prediction Trick in the Magic World
Coco Trick turns a simple ladybug into a miracle of prediction! This charming and original routine combines the beauty of nature with magical impossibility to create a moment of pure wonder.
The Effect
You introduce a card showing a blank ladybug to your spectator. After removing a sealed prediction, you invite the spectator to “create” their own ladybug by freely placing black dots on its body, then drawing the head wherever they choose.
Once the personalized ladybug is complete, you reveal your prediction… which perfectly matches the spectator’s unique creation! Same dot placement, same head position, same orientation – a flawless match that defies all logic.

Rainbow Ring Connection by Alan Wong
The effect is very simple, yet intriguing! Seven colors of the rainbow in small rope rings change into a chain of color rope links and finally into a large ring of rope.
The ropes are brightly colorful knitted ropes and the props include a basic double change bag. The kit comes in a worker’s nylon zipper bag, with simple written instructions. Learn in one minute, all ready to go.
It is very easy to do, very visual to understand. Packs small and plays big for small groups or on stage.
Obviously, this is a double change bag, so the options for using for a whole plethora of other things is there (which is why i have included it).
Just be careful with it, as it does not look like a ‘heavy’ use item.

Pancho the Pickin Duck trick Verne
Great for comedy, childrens or adults. Also great for a Master of Ceremonies type tool.
A delightfully and updated version of the classic “Card Duck,” or “Gwendolyn, this specially made puppet in brightly colored quality card can reveal any number of chosen cards.
- Perfect for children’s shows
- Use with alphabet cards to spell out a birthday child’s name
- Use with number cards to find the correct sum, etc.
- Sure to get a smile in your show
- Suitable for stage or close-up
- Completely self-contained
- A good tool for the M.C.

Mysterious Chicken by Mago Flash
You can get a lot of play out of this item.
A new version of a children’s magic classic.
It is nothing more and nothing less than a magical white chicken. the magician says it will make the chicken turn blue. The magician passes the chicken over his back, and it automatically turns blue. At that moment, the children in the audience shout desperately that they have realized the trap and that this is not magic. Finally, the magician reveals that the chicken really is magical and behind it is a beautiful little pig.
Very effective, excellent effect of comic magic and children’s magic.

Magic Top Hat by Mago Flash
Really enjoy this effect, great for children.
This time, we present a new version of the watering can comedy.
This time in the form of a magician’s top hat and a magic wand that squirts water.
You can perform very entertaining routines where the water disappears from the top hat and travels to the magic wand. The water then reappears in the magician’s top hat.
Great fun for children’s magic, parlor magic, and comedy magic.

Freddie the Magical High Jumping Flea by Jonathan Royle and Tizzy The Clown Mixed Media DOWNLOAD
This is a pdf download, with videos to watch.
You learn how to make and perform this effect.
It is a very interactive, entertaining effect and will drive children crazy with excitement.
This is similar to the Classic Monkey Bar Routine, except that it uses 3 glasses upon a small tray. Inside one of the glasses is a large colorful silk.
This silk apparently magically jumps from one end glass to the other, but always only after the magician placed the tray behind his back. The audience soon catches on, with screams of, “You turned it around!”
After much comedy by-play and audience interaction — which you will witness on two videos showing Tizzy the Clown using this routine (he has honed this to perfection in live performances) — there is a double impact magical ending.
First, the silk visibly jumps from one end glass to the other in front of everybody’s eyes! Then, as an encore, the silk visibly jumps from the end glass into the center one! This once again draws huge applause from the amazed audience.

The Magic Tube by Gabbo Torres and George Iglesias
Good reviews.
The magician shows an M&M’s tube, and shakes it to prove it is empty. He opens the tube and removes, from the inside, a special white silk with the M&M’s logo and some M&M’s printed on it. He shows the tube is empty, he closes it and gives it to a spectator to hold. The silk is now tucked into the magician’s fist and then is vanished in midair! The spectator is asked to open the tube and to his amazement, the handkerchief is found back in the tube again!
But wait — there’s more!
The handkerchief is tucked back into the tube. The cap is closed, leaving a corner of the silk sticking out in full view. The magician gives the tube to another spectator and asks him to shake it. With great surprise, he can hear real M&M’s shaking inside! The cap is opened again and the silk is removed. Now the white handkerchief has ONLY the M&M’s logo printed on it and no M&M’s! Real M&M’s are poured from the tube into the spectator’s hand! Everything is fully examinable!

From Silly Billy comes a great trick for older kids 7-12. If you like wordplay you will love Yes, No, Maybe So.
It gets the kids crazy with puns and misreading. Plus it fools the kids and adults.

Scary Book by Gustavo Sereno and Gee Magic
Scary Book uses a well-known principle that is used in an original and unique way making a very funny and interacting routine for entertaining kids.
You start by saying that you are going to show the scariest book of all time. And the reason to be so scary is that inside lives the scariest creatures and monsters.
When you show the book (phase 1) it will appear adorable little animals that are so cute that kids will laugh because they are not scary at all. Then you react like something went wrong and you manage to understand what you need to do to make them appear. It’s the magic word. The magic word is shout it out (phase 2) and when you open the book again there are no monsters, no animals nothing. (phase 3) At the end with one helper or the help of everyone you will make them appear.

Rudolph and Friends By Gustavo Sereno and Gee Magic
Rudoph and Friends uses a well-known principle that is used in an original and unique way making a very funny and interacting routine for Christmas shows.
You start by saying that you are going to show a very special group of friends that helps Santa on Christmas Eve. Together, they make up the perfect team, working side by side to spread cheer, deliver gifts, and share in the magic of Christmas. They are Rudolph and friends.
When you show the book (phase 1) The reindeer will not be there.
Then you react like something went wrong and you manage to understand what you need to do to make them appear. It’s the magic word. The magic word is “Corn”. They shout it out (phase 2) and when you open the book it will appear chickens.
Confused, you realized that the correct word is not “corn”, its “grass”. So, you ask the kids to shout the magic word. And when they do (phase 3), you open the book and will appear zebras.
At the end (phase 4), you remember that the correct word is not “corn” or “grass”, its “cookies”. They shout the word “cookies”, and all the reindeer will appear.
This is the perfect moment to finish with a educational message (optional): “Each one of them, with their unique size, speed and personality, proves that no matter how different you are, there’s always a place to create the best kind of friendship”
This routine has it all. MAGIC, COMEDY and EDUCATION.

The Magical Arch by Magic Dream
This would be good for slightly older children as an ‘impromptu’ type prediction effect.

Rabbit On The Rainbow by Juan Pablo Magic
A three-phase routine with a kicker ending: The magician starts with three blank cards and a rabbit in the fourth one. The cards also have different colors on the backs so they are easier to follow. Even being this fair, no one can guess where the rabbit is!
At the end, the magician reveals that there were three rabbits and only one blank card!
You can give everything to the audience to examine at the end. With this routine, Juan Pablo has fooled some of the top names in magic!

Wonder Pop by Gonçalo Gil and Danny Weiser produced by Gee Magic
The Magician explains that he’s going to show how lollipops are made. He takes a bottle and blows through a circular ring to make some soap bubbles in round ball shapes.
Magically he is able to catch one of the balls, as it has turned solid! He attaches the ball to a stick, he waves the stick, and visually it becomes a real lollipop that can be given to a member of the audience.

Mysterious Snake by Mago Flash
A new twist on a children’s magic classic. It is nothing more and nothing less than a magical green snake inside a basket. A magician says that he will turn the snake blue. A magician passes the snake behind his back and it automatically turns blue. Silly Wand Trick by Silly Billy
Do you do kids’ shows? Do you want your audience to howl with laughter? Then Silly Wand Trick is for you! Two 8″ wands turn into a twisty, silly wand that is 28″ long. Comes with a booklet of 101 gags, jokes, and bits of business that you can do with the wand. You can use it like a trouble bit, spell letters and numbers, so many choices!
Silly Billy’s favorite bit is to hand it to your child helper. It stretches out and everyone laughs.
Do funny stuff with it (from the 101 suggestions in the booklet). THEN say, “The wand can be long or short. For this trick, it must be short.” Close the wand to 8 inches. Hand the wand to the child, turn your back to find a prop, and the kid stretches it out! All his friends love it! He got the better of the magician. This is a classic “Magician in Trouble” routine. Return to the child and reiterate that the wand should be short. Close it back down. Turn your back and the kid pulls it open again! Funny! Parents will laugh, too!
