Colin Underwood and TCC Magic have released one of Colin’s effects (routine).

If you enjoy a “nested box” type of effect, then this would be of interest to you.

Music Box by Colin Underwood and TCC Magic

The Effect:

The magician gets an item from an audience member (ring, coin, anything small) that the audience member can sign (personalise) in their way.

The item is vanished (various methods- whatever method suits you) and is found in the locked, sealed music box.

The music box actually plays music when you turn the handle (the Harry Potter theme).

The re-appearance of the item that has vanished inside a locked box is astounding to audiences. This is one of those effects, that when done properly is remembered in the audiences mind long after the show.

The routining can play really funny or alternatively, i could also imagine it going very well, played in a straight manner for a mentalism act.

Here is Colin, performing the effect on the College of Magic stage.

Music Box by Colin Underwood and TCC Magic- quality:

The prop is beautifully finished. It has a great feel and is a well made prop, which should last you many years. Made from Beechwood.

Here is a review done by David from Magic Orthodoxy.
