Zak Mirz

Zak Mirz is a first-generation American magician who was born to parents from Iran and Afghanistan.

Unfortunately, his father was murdered when Zak was just one year old. Zak discovered magic tricks at a young age, which became an unexpected form of therapy and comfort, practising providing a unique form of escapism and solace.

Today, Zak is a rising star in the magic industry, recognized for his unique style of storytelling and magic.

He has performed on various shows, including “Penn & Teller: Fool Us!” where he successfully fooled the legendary magicians Penn and Teller. Zak has also served as a magic advisor for David Blaine’s special “The Magic Way”.

Zak’s first full-length magic show, “Ticket for One,” is now streaming on YouTube.

As a professional magician, Zak tours worldwide, sharing his passion for magic and inspiring his audiences.

He has also created a deck of cards to raise awareness and funds to fight human trafficking, which are currently sold out.

Zak’s current tour, “Flashes Of Magic,” is taking him to various locations. The event timetable can be viewed on his website. His wife and his daughter are his Roadies, administrators and companions!

Zak has just competed in America’s Got Talent, he received 4 buzzers pushing him through to the live performances (May 2025).
