This winter school holiday, Cape Town’s families are in for some enchanting indoor fun with the 2015 Traditional Childrens Magic Festival at the College of Magic in Claremont, taking place from Wednesday to Saturday, July 1st to 4th.
Escape the pouring rain into an enthralling winter wonderland with your little ones at the College’s spacious and mysterious Victorian manor where a mystical mystery awaits in every room – from dazzling magic shows featuring well-known guest performers to exhilarating treasure hunts and hands-on, interactive workshops where your aspiring wizards will learn to perform their own tricks.
It’s 90 minutes of non-stop fun as more than 50 jugglers, clowns, mimes, escapologists, stilt walkers and more take kids and the young at heart on an unbelievable adventure – with secret passage doors appearing unexpectedly and magical rabbits dropping by for photo opportunities, who knows what will happen next? Best of all, you get to take some of the magic home with you – each ticket includes a free magical goody bag.
Performances are at 10:30 am & 2:30 pm daily – with tickets from R75.
