Famous for his hit television show “the Carbonaro Effect”- he has performed over 500 mind blowing effects on this show, which is currently in its second season (truTV).

Carbonaro has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and has also starred in CBS’s Rush Hour, HBO’s The Newsroom, NBC’s 30 Rock, TV Land’s Happily Divorced, among many others.

He is an American actor, magician, and improv artist born in 1975 or 1976 in Oakdale, New York.

He began performing magic professionally while growing up and earned his college tuition while still in his teens. He holds a bachelor’s degree in drama from the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.

Carbonaro is known for his hidden-camera “Magic Clerk” segments on The Tonight Show, where he tricks unsuspecting customers at a convenience store. This led to the television series “The Carbonaro Effect,” which premiered on TruTV on May 15, 2014, following a preview episode on April 1, 2014.

In “The Carbonaro Effect,” Carbonaro performs baffling tricks on unsuspecting people in everyday situations, all caught on hidden camera.
The series has run for over 100 episodes and can now be seen on HBOMax.

The Carbonaro Effect: A comedic series where Michael performs tricks on unsuspecting people, showcasing his magic skills in everyday situations. Carbonaro has also performed magic in various television shows and films, including appearances on “Chappelle’s Show,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” and “CSI: Miami,” among others.

In addition to his television work, Carbonaro has embarked on theatrical tours, such as his inaugural theatrical tour and the widely acclaimed show “Michael Carbonaro Live!”.
His most recent tour is called “Carbonaro: Lies on Stage,” where he continues to showcase his humor and charisma along with brand new illusions.

Carbonaro is also known for his theatrical performances and has been entertaining audiences around the country with his brand-new tour “Carbonaro: Lies on Stage”.
